Call me Gracie!
Everyone who knows me calls me Gracie. Consider this our introduction.
I am an actor and improviser from Walnut Creek, CA: a great town with no walnuts and a mostly paved over creek. I now count myself a resident of both NY and CA.
I come to NYC by way of Ohio, having graduated with a BFA in Acting and a minor in Philosophy from Otterbein University. In college, I acted on stage and on screen, directed, and discovered a lasting love of improv and comedy.
Since graduating, I have had the opportunity to work professionally with many wonderful collaborators. Last fall, I did The Woman in Black at Weston Theater Company. I also originated the role of The Spiral in Straight Icons at Ars Nova and returned to the role at New York Comedy Festival/The Second City. Other Credits: Much Ado About Nothing (SPARC’s Shakespeare in the Vineyard), Silent Sky (SPARC’s Shakespeare in the Vineyard), small town icons (Off The Lane), Radio Man (SoHo Playhouse: Lighthouse Series), a staged reading of THE COMMAND CENTER (Laguardia Performing Arts Center’s Rough Draft Festival 2024), and a staged reading of Protect the Protectors (The Tank). In between everything, I did many short films and readings that you haven’t seen. The short that I co-wrote and co-starred in, “Somebody/Anybody,” is currently making its way around the film festival circuit.
In my free time, you can find me writing, speaking French, wearing sweaters that my mom knit, and talking about my parents’ desire to be amateur farmers.
